Rasika Dugal who will soon be seen in the web series Out Of Love as the leading lady, has been invited to be a panelist on for an event by Royal Stag Large Short Films, to speak about What Makes Films Powerful.
Rasika has established herself in the film world with movies like Manto, Qissa and Hamid as well as in the digital space with series like Mirzapur, Made In Heaven and the most recent success, Delhi Crime. The actor also received a lot of appreciation for her performance in the widely acclaimed short film, Chutney which will be screened at the panel.
The panel discussion will be hosted by well-known film journalist, Anupama Chopra and Rasika will share the stage with Farah Khan, Jimmy Sheirgill, Vikrant Massey and Jai Sharma. The group will talk about how the potential of strong characters in films has grown over the last few years.
Sharing her excitement on the same, Rasika says, “I am looking forward to sharing experiences with the other panelists. The panel has an interesting mix of people from the industry who have done very different kinds of work .
With the onset of digital platforms the meaning of entertainment and the way people engage with content has changed. Storytelling has been pushing the boundaries and attempting to break formula. I think it’s the best time for interesting collaborations to be able to experiment further. So a conversation around it to learn from the experience of others is much needed.”
Along with Out Of Love, Rasika will also be seen in the second season of Mirzapur and Mira Nair’s upcoming series, A Suitable Boy..
