She got an opportunity to practice and study cosmetology in Chester, England that too on a scholarship she rightfully deserved. She grabbed the opportunity and went to Chester.
She modeled for various popular brands. She started her acting career as one of the lead actress in Saath Bhai Ki Cheli and acted in various movies and TV serials – Balika Vadhu,Sass Bhi Kabhie Bahu Thi, Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Love Dosti Dua,Tum Bin Jiya Jaaye Na CID & Uthe Dil Chod Aaye to name a few. Her short cameo roles in Fan with Shahrukh Khan and Tere Sang with Satish Kaushik are still remembered by her fans. Her forthcoming film Mr. Paanwalla with Yashpal Sharma, Mir Sarvar and Mita Vashisth is awaiting release.
In the year 2015 ,She took part in Mrs. India, and Mrs. Universe 2016 and won the title of Mrs. Universe Popular .This inspired her to start her own Beauty Pageant Shows to create her team of strong women in India to work for Domestic violence, Save Earth, Gender Equality Cancer awareness.
Dr.Daljeet Kaur, the compassionate and caring person has a soft corner for the economically needy and the underprivileged people in the society. She is working on the pathetic condition of freshers and senior artists unseen and unattended. She started an NGO – Innovative Artist Welfare Association* IAWA for the benefit of artists.
She started the Saraswati Bai Dadasaheb Phalke Award show after being inspired by her.
During the Covid -19 Pandemic, she extended her support to the needy by providing a small financial to 300 artist and technicians in India. She organized various online events to keep women engaged and empowered. She believes in providing a platform for the unrecognized hidden talents. IAWA awarded the people who extended their support and services to help the needy during Covid 19 and till today IAWA has awarded over 7000 people through out India with the Covid Yoddha Samman.
Daljeet Kaur is the proud recipient of the HONOURARY DOCTRATE FROM AUGP ACCREDITED WITH UNITED NATION for her dedicated service in uplifting social & economic causes for women.
She spends her quality time at Old Age Homes and with cancer patients at TATA hospital. Interacting with the less privileged gives her solace & peace within that she is making her one life worthwhile. Her one dream is to open an Old Age Home where the old people can enjoy life and laugh a little more. She wants this old age home to be a place where the old people can spend the rest of their life doing what they love.
She is also the Vice Chairman of National Human Rights Council for social justice and National Chairperson of National Akali Dal India ,in women Wing.
