Ekta Jain Celebrates Maharashtra Day and Gujarat Day in Style, Showcasing Her Love for Both States
Ekta Jain, a well-known actress in the Indian entertainment industry, is known for her impressive work in popular TV shows such as ‘Shagun’, ‘Apun To Waise HI’, and ‘Shaka Laka Boom Boom’. Apart from her acting skills, Ekta is known for her love for festivals and traditions, and she celebrates them with utmost delight. Recently, the actress celebrated Maharashtra Day and Gujarat Day by showcasing her unique style.
On May 1st every year, people in Gujarat and Maharashtra celebrate Labour Day, which is an annual holiday in both states. Interestingly, Gujarat and Maharashtra were formed on the same day, i.e., May 1, 1960. To mark the occasion, Ekta Jain took to her Instagram to share her different looks in Maharashtrian and Gujarati attire.
Having spent her childhood in Gujarat and worked in Maharashtra, both the states hold a special place in Ekta’s heart. “These places are close to my heart. I am a resident of Kutch, whereas Mumbai has been my workplace. I make sure to entertain people of both states with my work,” said Ekta.

For her Maharashtrian look, Ekta donned a beautiful Paithani-style saree, which she paired with a Maharashtrian nath and a topi (cap). Designed by Navinyas Handloom, Ekta looked elegant and graceful in the saree. For her Gujarati look, Ekta chose a saree in the colour combination of maroon and saffron, complete with a bandhani dupatta and jewellery accessories.
In addition, Ekta believes in finding joy in little things and celebrating every event and festival with dignity. “Maharashtra Day and Gujarat Day have been significant for me for years. Along with it, Labour Day is also a mark of respect for all those labourers who work round the clock the entire year. It is great to see that they get due for their work,” said Ekta.
Apart from her love for festivals and traditions, Ekta Jain is also a talented actress and has acted in several films, including ‘Khali Bali’, ‘Zindagi Ek Shatranj’, and ‘Trahimam’. Recently, the actress walked the ramp for a cause at the Bombay Times Fashion Week organised by Archana Jain’s Florian Foundation. Ekta has several upcoming projects in the pipeline, which will be released soon.
