Veteran actress Neena Gupta recently opened up about her experience shooting intimate scenes for a project, recalling her first-ever kissing scene for the TV show titled Dillagi. In an interaction with Instant Bollywood, Neena Gupta expressed her uneasiness and revealed that she “couldn’t sleep all night” after shooting the scene.

While her co-star was good-looking, she emphasized that physical appearance was not the determining factor in such situations. During the interaction, Neena Gupta shared a poignant detail about her post-scene ritual. Immediately after shooting the kissing scene, she resorted to rinsing her mouth with Dettol. She compared this preference to how different actors have unique strengths and weaknesses in various acting genres.
Just as some individuals struggle with comedy or shedding tears on camera, Neena Gupta disclosed that she found it extremely challenging to kiss someone she did not know. This discomfort drove her to cleanse her mouth with Dettol, an act symbolic of purging herself from the unfamiliar experience.
