Himani Shivpuri, renowned for her portrayal of Katori Amma in &TV’s “Happu Ki Ultan Paltan,” is not only a celebrated actress but also an ardent animal lover. Behind the scenes, she spreads love and compassion by caring for the furry companions on the set.
Sharing her passion for animals, Himani Shivpuri expressed, “Since childhood, I’ve had a deep affection for animals. From birds to rabbits, cats, and dogs, I’ve cared for them all. Stray dogs, in particular, deserve love and care just like any other pet. I’ve adopted several strays on the sets of ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’ and nurtured them like my own. They’ve become an integral part of my life, and I ensure they receive food, water, shelter, and medical attention.”
Reflecting on her son’s attachment to their pet dog, she reminisced, “My son, Katyayan, shares my love for dogs. When he was young, we had a beloved dog named ‘Raja.’ Despite his passing, the bond between Katyayan and Raja remains cherished. Now, we have Arya, an Indie Labrador, who brings immense joy to our household.”
Encouraging others to adopt strays, Himani Shivpuri emphasized, “I urge everyone considering a pet to explore local shelters or rescue organizations. Stray dogs are often loving and loyal companions who can enrich your life in unexpected ways.”
