Diwali is a festival that brings families and friends together, a time of lights, joy, and cherished traditions. For actor Ray Parihar, popularly known for his role in Rabb Se Hai Dua produced by Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah’s Studio LSD, this year’s Diwali holds a special place, even though he won’t be celebrating it with his family. Instead, he is looking forward to connecting with friends and fans who continue to show their love and support.
“This year, Diwali feels extra special,” Ray shared. “I won’t get a chance to celebrate with my family, but my friends and fans have made me feel so loved. It’s all about reconnecting and celebrating together.” The actor, who has built a strong fan base, is set to make the most of the festival by spending it with those who have become like a second family to him.
Reminiscing about his best Diwali memories, Ray spoke with nostalgia about the warmth of family gatherings and the simple joys of lighting diyas together. “Family gatherings, lighting diyas, and enjoying homemade sweets are my favourite memories of Diwali. Decorating the house with my family has always been a highlight,” he said. Even amidst his busy schedule, these memories bring him a sense of home.
On set, Ray often dresses up for festival sequences, embodying a festive spirit on screen. But this year, his real-life Diwali attire will be classic yet comfortable. “This Diwali, I’ll keep it classic with a simple sherwani—comfortable but festive enough for the occasion,” he revealed, adding that he enjoys celebrating in attire that allows him to feel relaxed and festive at the same time.

For Ray, Diwali is about more than the festivities; it’s about sharing moments with loved ones and spreading happiness. “Sharing moments with loved ones, exchanging gifts, and seeing everyone dressed up with joy is what makes Diwali truly meaningful for me,” he said, emphasizing the spirit of warmth and togetherness that defines the festival for him.
