Actress Tanvi Shewale, known for her role as Roshni in Udne Ki Aasha, is gearing up for a memorable Diwali this year. Tanvi, who will be working during the festival for the first time, says this Diwali has an extra layer of significance. “The reason this Diwali is so special for me is because it’s the first Diwali I’ll be working, which adds a new experience to the celebration,” she shares. “Until now, whenever I celebrated Diwali, I wasn’t actively working, so this year, I feel very happy and grateful to be doing so.”
In addition to experiencing her first working Diwali, Tanvi has another reason to celebrate, as November is also her birthday month. “Having Diwali and my birthday fall close together makes this year even more meaningful,” she says. “These two reasons—working for the first time on Diwali and celebrating my birthday—make this Diwali truly memorable for me.”
Tanvi’s Diwali plans include wrapping up her shoot schedule early to ensure she has time to celebrate the festivities at home. “I hope we finish shooting before the puja so we can sit together as a family, make delicious puranpoli, clean the house, and decorate everything. I think it will be one of the best Diwalis ever,” she adds, reflecting on the importance of sharing these moments with family.
For Tanvi, the holiday is about cherishing time with loved ones. “Family photos are always meaningful because everyone looks so happy in them,” she says. “It’s not just about the decorations or rituals—it’s about being surrounded by loved ones.” This year’s Diwali promises to be a blend of tradition and new beginnings for Tanvi, as she celebrates both her career and her personal milestones.
