Indore’s Young Diving Sensation Honored by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan
Diver Palak Sharma, a young talent hailing from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, has made waves in the world of sports by receiving the prestigious Madhya Pradesh Eklavya Award. Her remarkable journey began at the tender age of 8 when she embarked on her diving training. Now, at the age of 16, Palak Sharma has become a well-known figure across the nation due to her outstanding sporting achievements.
The Madhya Pradesh Eklavya Award is a significant recognition at the state level, bestowed upon talented athletes by the government of Madhya Pradesh. The awards ceremony took place at the martial arts auditorium of Tatya Tope Stadium in Bhopal. During the event, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, along with the state government, honored a total of 47 athletes and sports personalities. National Sports cum Youth Affairs Minister Anurag Thakur also graced the occasion. Palak Sharma was presented with the Madhya Pradesh Ekalavya Award for the year 2022. The award included a citation, a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, and a prestigious medal.
