Raghav Thakur, best known for his role as Krishna Shukla in the Colors TV show “Suhagan,” expresses that Ganesh Chaturthi has always held immense significance in his family. He is a devout worshipper of Lord Ganesha and believes deeply in the deity’s powers.
For him, Ganesh Chaturthi is not just a festival but an emotion that resonates with everyone. The festival’s fervor is so widespread that nobody wants to miss out on celebrating the presence of Lord Ganesha. Since moving to Mumbai, Lord Ganesha, or Ganpati Bappa, as he affectionately calls him, has become a source of comfort and guidance in Thakur’s life. He often visits the Siddhivinayak Temple, turning to Bappa in both happy and challenging times, as being near the deity brings him inner peace.
Regarding his plans for this year’s Ganesh Chaturthi, Thakur mentions that due to his shooting commitments, he has limited time. However, he intends to visit a friend’s place where Lord Ganesha has been welcomed. He wouldn’t miss the opportunity to be in Bappa’s presence. Additionally, he shares his love for churma laddoo and ukadiche modaks, which are among Bappa’s favorite treats.
When asked about his prayers for this year, Thakur expresses his gratitude to Lord Ganesha for guiding him at every stage of his life, from his move to Mumbai to finding good work. His prayer is simple: for Bappa to continue showering blessings and granting him the strength to carry out the hard work required for all the plans that lie ahead. Ganpati Bappa Morya!
