Alankrita Sahai is one actress who’s truly got nothing to prove. From her successful modeling pageantry conquests to eventually cementing her niche in the industry as a frontline, reliable actress who will put her best foot forward for anything and everything that she does, Alankrita has grown immensely as an artiste, all thanks to the credibility that she’s earned for herself for the years. After having enjoyed a successful spree of her OTT project, music videos and awards, Alankrita is now looking forward to exploring the world of 70mm big screen all the way more. Yes, that’s right folks. The actress is all set to play the most important role in her upcoming movie Tipppsy and no brownie points for guessing that the story and screenplay of the movie primarily revolves around her. She’s playing one of Charlie’s angels in the movie alongside actresses like Kainaat Arora, Natasha Suri, Nazia & Sonia Birje. Alankrita even took to her social media handle earlier to share snaps of herself with Kainaat and Nazia and given the way they are bonding, it seems like they have become great friends. But hey, is friendship between female actors a myth in the industry or a reality? On being asked more about the same, Alankrita said and we quote,
“Well, I truly had a gala and a ball of a time in playing my character of Pony. It was a super fun experience to be Charlie’s sweet and spicy angels and well, when Charlie is Deepak Tijori himself, it certainly enhances the entertainment quotient. I don’t understand why people often say that actresses can’t actually be friends in the industry. I mean look at us, right from the shooting stage to even after completing the shoot, all of us girls have been chilling together in each other’s company. Of course in a group, certain friendships are a little more special and some a little less. But then, I find it a nonsensical thought when people say female actresses can’t be friends. We all have been very secured in our respective spaces now, all of us aka Charlie’s angels are looking forward to celebrating together once the film releases in cinemas on 10th May. I can’t wait to know the reaction of my audience. Fingers crossed and I’m super excited.”
Well, some real words of wisdom coming from Alankrita’s end and well, we are certainly confident that she is going to slay in the movie and continue her winning and successful run in the industry with this movie. Here’s wishing her good luck and success for this and everything going forward. Stay tuned for more updates.
