A mere 3 years after delivering a noteworthy performance among the likes of experienced and acclaimed actors like Emraan Hashmi and Sobhita Dhulipala, Abhishekh Khan is about to make his long awaited film debut. Critics who touted him as one of the industry’s most promising young stars, will now have the chance to see for themselves, as this October the youngster is set to take the stage in Balaji Motion Pictures’ Goodbye, alongside Bollywood royalty Amitabh Bachchan and national crush Rashmika Mandanna.
When speaking about his debut, Abhishekh said, “Debuting alongside this star studded cast in a Vikas Bahl film is an honour. Vikas sir made such a big difference in helping me settle into the role. I still am in awe of Bachchan sir’s aura onset. It is like everyone is aware that one of the greatest to have ever graced our screens is present, so everyone is trying to deliver the best take of their life. Three years ago, if you told me I would debut alongside Bachchan sir, I would probably not have believed you but I can only be thankful and grateful to God for this once in a lifetime opportunity. Sharing the screen with Big B is huge for any actor, let alone doing it on your debut.”
Abhishekh went on to add, “… I thank my stars for having Amit Trivedi’s music and Swanand sir’s lyrics attached to my debut. I have a deep appreciation for their craft as they have always been pushing the boundaries on that front.”
When probed, Abhishekh was careful to not reveal too much about his role in the film. The way he and the production have been tight-lipped about his character has us at the edge of our seats as we all patiently await the 7th of October to witness his silver screen debut.
