Rising actor-producer Rohit Choudhary who will be seen in the movie Vanvaas, recently voiced his opinion regarding the tragic Sandhya Theater stampede case, where superstar Allu Arjun was briefly arrested and later released on bail. The incident, which resulted in chaos and injuries, sparked a debate about celebrity responsibility versus systemic failures.
Expressing his sadness over the incident, Rohit said, “It’s to my utter sadness that so many innocent people got involved in this stampede case.”
While acknowledging the immense stardom and influence celebrities hold, Rohit emphasized that fame also comes with a responsibility to lead by example. “I always say that famous people, whom people idolize and follow, hold a great responsibility in their actions and what they say publicly,” he remarked.
However, Rohit also firmly defended Allu Arjun, stating that the superstar’s stardom should not be held accountable for the unfortunate event. He clarified that such incidents are often a result of mismanagement and lack of crowd control rather than the actions of any individual.

“It’s more of a security, management, and people’s patience absence case,” Rohit explained. He drew a relatable analogy to traffic jams, saying, “Stampedes can happen anywhere there’s a crowd. For that matter, look at a traffic jam scenario—if a signal doesn’t work, chaos erupts within seconds.”
The actor further highlighted a larger issue—society’s dependency on structure and directions. He observed, “As a nation, we have become such that we always need directions. Without it, we become like a sheep herd in total chaos.”
Concluding his thoughts, Rohit firmly stated that Allu Arjun should not be blamed for the tragedy. “Allu Arjun’s stardom shall not be held responsible at all,” he asserted.
