Charrul Malik: Rekha aap sa nahin koi dekha. I have grown up watching Rekhaji’s movies, my mother was a fan of Rekhaji. My favourite film of hers is Umrao Jaan and when she enters a room everything around just fades. Her style statement gajra and Kanjivaram sarees are unbeatable. She has a beautiful voice and she sings so well. I really admire her style, personality, aura, acting and her finesse.
Anjali Phougat: Silsila – because of story line simplicity, beautiful music and above all her chemistry with Amitabh Bachchan. I love old films and the originality. She is so beautiful and still my favorite actress and I wish her a very happy birthday.
Hiten Paintal: Wishing Rekha ma’am a very Happy Birthday, she is a diva, one of the most enigmatic, beautiful women that our industry has ever seen and will ever see. The most favorite film of Rekha Ma’am is Umrao Jaan. I think nobody can forget Umrao Jaan, she looked absolutely stunning and the performance and her expressions were mind-blowing. Though on top for me was Khoon Bhari Maang which was such an amazing film, it was such a different concept of a film she had the guts and glory to perform and it was amazing. I think she is a diva and there is not a bigger word than that. Wishing her a very Happy Birthday and Rekha ma’am you rock.
