Preeti Verma, a talented actor, equestrian, and adventurer, recently added a thrilling achievement to her diverse list of accomplishments. She completed her first skydive in Ujjain, home to the only drop zone in India, ‘Sky High India,’ alongside none other than one of the most decorated officers in the Indian Army, Brigadier S. S. Shekhawat, KC, SC, SM, VSM. Sharing more about the experience, Preeti says, “Finally, I experienced the thrill of a real skydive! Woh kehte hain na, sapno ki udaan bhar leni chahiye. From the meticulous briefings and harness checks to perfecting the ARCH position and landing stance, every detail of the training came together for this incredible jump. To top it off, I had the honor of diving with one of the bravest of India—Brigadier Shekhawat. My first skydive is a memory I’ll cherish forever!” She also adds, “I would love to train for a solo jump one day… one of the wishes to write on my 2025 wish list.”

Born into a proud Jat family in Uttar Pradesh and raised in Haryana, Preeti’s story is one of grit, talent, and passion. Now based in Mumbai for the past seven years, she has balanced a flourishing career in acting and casting with her lifelong love for horses, achieving remarkable success in both fields.
Preeti is among the rare few in the entertainment industry who seamlessly balance a high-profile career with a deeply rooted passion for equestrianism. Her latest venture, skydiving, has added yet another feather to her cap. “The rush of freefall, the wind against my face, and the joy of conquering fears—skydiving has opened up a whole new dimension for me,” she shares.

Preeti’s career in acting and modeling is equally impressive. She has worked with renowned designers like Ritu Beri and Baby Beri, as well as brands such as 1469 Originals. She has walked the ramp at events like Delhi Times Fashion Week and India Showcase Fashion Week, while also completing several high-profile print and commercial campaigns.
In her transition from modeling to acting, Preeti joined the Mukesh Chhabra Casting Company, which opened doors to projects like Jersey, Shabaash Mithu, Crash Course, and various TV commercials. Preeti’s artistic journey also includes theater work with Makarand Deshpande’s Ansh Theatre Group and Khidkiyaan Theatre, where she honed her craft in acting and production.
Her film and acting portfolio features experiences such as her first set at Raj Kapoor Studios for NDTV Prime’s reality show Ticket to Bollywood and working on projects like Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2. She has also starred as the lead in music videos for renowned artists such as Kailash Kher, Dr. Palash Sen, and Sonu Nigam.
Reflecting on her journey, Preeti says, “Acting has taught me patience and perseverance. As an artist, I believe that every experience contributes to the roles we embody. I’m still striving, auditioning daily, and waiting for that one role that feels like it was written just for me. Kalakaar hoon aur kala ke rangon ko jeeti rahoon… Koi toh kirdaar mere liye bhi likha ja raha hoga.”
