Mrunal Thakur to enthralled her fans with her on-stage debut performance at the 67th Filmfare Awards South, which was held last night in Bengaluru. As much as is it was exciting for her fans, it was also equally thrilling for Mrunal. She was seen performing on songs from her debut Telugu movie, Sita Ramam, as well as other popular songs from southern movies. The award function celebrated the best of the cinema from the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries and Mrunal performed on popular songs from different industries.
Mrunal says, “There are too many firsts here. Sita Ramam is my first Telugu movie and this was my first performance on stage. The rehearsals itself was so thrilling, I was ecstatic for the final performance on stage. The audience were not just the fans but also fraternity people from all the four southern industries. There were many I know already and many I met for the first time, so it was important for me and I was looking forward to it.”
The actor’s last movie, Sita Raman, which is also her Telugu debut, has been one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. The movie also stars Dulquer Salmaan, Rashmika Mandanna and Sumanth in the lead.
