Rashami Desai is one of the most adored and respected actresses in the Indian entertainment industry. As an artiste, she has always pushed the envelope beyond usual limits to slay and well, her incredible body of work speaks volumes for itself. As an individual, in different stages of life, she’s proven her grit, dedication and mental strength on many occasions and well, without any element of doubt, one big reason behind that has been her consistent faith in spirituality. She’s always someone who gives a sense of calm and cool and it’s truly soothing indeed.
Quite often, we see Rashami visiting different temples as she believes in practicing her faith to good effect. Well, that’s exactly why she decided to take time away from her busy schedule to visit the special Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. It is to be noted that ever since the temple was opened for visitors, Rashami couldn’t visit due to her hectic schedule. But well, when she could visit, she certainly made the most out of it.
Not just the Ram Mandir, Rashami also visited the auspicious Siddhipeet Hanuman Mandir and what grabbed the most attention was how she actually stood in the queue like a normal citizen despite being offered special treatment. Regarding her visit to Ayodhya for the temple visits, Rashami said and we quote,
“Ayodhya has changed immensely for the better. Ever since the mandir was open, I wanted to come. It’s been long but the wait was worthwhile. There’s a different sense of positive aura in the surroundings and I truly cherished every bit of it. Also, I believe that nobody is a celebrity in front of God. For God, everyone is equal and hence, there was no way I would have done my darshan by taking any special treatment. I was very happy waiting in the queue for my turn as it’s a part of my honest faith in God. I truly loved the experience of both the temples and I look forward to seeking blessings in the future as well going forward. Jai Bajrangbali. Jai Shree Ram.”
