The Bollywood film industry has been home to numerous iconic friendships, yet few rival the enduring bond between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Their friendship, spanning several decades, has been extensively chronicled.
A particularly unforgettable episode from their camaraderie occurred during the production of the 1995 hit film Karan Arjun. In a recent discussion, actor Johny Lever, who was also part of the cast, recounted an incident that highlighted the duo’s playful and spirited nature.
Johny Lever shared that Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan frequently engaged in lighthearted pranks on one another as well as on the cast and crew. On one occasion, Salman escalated the fun by brandishing a fake gun and feigning an attempt to shoot Shah Rukh.
“We were filming in Jaipur, and Salman would tease Shah Rukh daily,” Johny Lever reminisced. “We were concerned that Shah Rukh might take offense, but he would simply laugh it off.”

However, it quickly became clear that it was merely a prank. Shah Rukh rose to his feet, and both friends erupted in laughter, much to the relief of the cast and crew who had been momentarily alarmed.
This incident exemplifies the playful and spirited nature of the friendship between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Despite their status as superstars, they have consistently demonstrated a down-to-earth demeanor and a remarkable sense of humor.
