Travelling is a passion for many. They enjoy going to new places, learning something new and come back all happy and ready to take their life ahead. Sneh Binny, owner of the tennis team Delhi Binny’s Brigade, Founder & CEO of SaveEat & Binny’s Jewellery, talks about getting bitten by the travel bug and her favourite tourist destination.
“In recent times, my wanderlust has led me to the enchanting streets of Paris and the picturesque canals of Amsterdam. Each destination left an indelible mark on my travel journey, offering a unique blend of history, cuisine, and local experiences. My passion for traveling is similar to an insatiable thirst for exploration, a craving for the unfamiliar, and a deep appreciation for the diverse cultures that adorn our planet. Paris and Amsterdam were not just destinations; they were immersive classrooms where history, art, and culture came to life. The bustling streets, the aromatic cuisines, and the friendly faces I encountered along the way left an indelible mark on my heart, fostering a deep appreciation for the diversity that makes our world so extraordinary. The decision on my next destination remains open-ended, guided by the desire for exploration and the pursuit of enriching experiences. Each destination becomes a chapter in the book of my adventures, and the blank pages that lie ahead are filled with the promise of discovery and cultural immersion. So, where to next? I don’t know; the world is my oyster, and the possibilities are as boundless as my imagination,” he said.
In our fast-paced lives, work often takes the front seat, leaving little room for travel, he shares. But then he also mentions that travel is more than just a vacation; it’s a game-changer.
“When you explore new places, you see life from a different angle. Trying different foods and understanding new cultures—it all broadens your mind. Travel isn’t just about having fun; it’s like a crash course in life skills. It teaches you to adapt, be resilient, and think on your feet. So, in the middle of all those work deadlines, remember: travel isn’t a luxury; it’s an investment in yourself. It’s a chance to become a more awesome version of yourself, both at work and in life. Don’t let the busy world stop you from discovering the amazing things the world has to offer,” he adds.

Travelling reduces stress, brings joy and happiness. “Traveling has been recognised as a transformative and rejuvenating experience, offering countless benefits for both mental and emotional well-being. One of the key aspects of travel contributing to stress reduction is the opportunity to break away from the routine and demands of daily life. Stepping into a new environment allows individuals to detach from work-related stressors, providing a mental break and a chance to recharge. The memories created during travel become lasting sources of joy, serving as a reservoir of positive experiences that individuals can draw upon during challenging times. Furthermore, travel encourages a sense of independence and self-discovery. A thoughtful and balanced approach to incorporating travel into one’s lifestyle is key to reaping the full spectrum of benefits that it can offer,” he says.
There are a lot of people who meticulously plan their holiday, and then there are others who don’t.
“Planning a holiday can be as exciting as the trip itself! And meticulously planning every detail of your holiday, from the moment you step out the door to the time you return. It’s like choreographing a dance of experiences, ensuring everything aligns perfectly. On the flip side, there are those spontaneous souls who thrive on last-minute decisions. They hear about some cool destinations and boom, they’re on their way! It’s all about the thrill of the unexpected. Whether you’re a meticulous planner or a spur-of-the-moment explorer, the joy of travel is universal. It’s about creating memories and embracing the journey, no matter how you get there. In the end, whether you’re a meticulous planner or an impromptu adventurer, the essence of travel remains the same: a journey of self-discovery, a tapestry of moments woven together by the places you visit and the people you meet. So, are you the architect of your adventure, carefully crafting each detail, or the free spirit? You should always be ready to embrace the unscripted magic of travel,” he explains.
Have you ever traveled solo? “Well, the truth is, I’ve dipped my toes into the solo travel pond, but it was more for business than pleasure. You know, those work trips where you find yourself navigating new cities and airports solo. It’s not exactly the carefree adventure you imagine when you think of solo travel. The idea of solo travel can be a bit nerve-wracking. Getting lost is almost a guarantee, and making friends along the way is part of the game. So, in direct response to your question, yes, I’ve ventured into the realm of solo travel, but the real, unbridled adventure is still ahead, and I’m more than ready to embrace it,” he replies.
