Mumbai: Animal welfare non-profit World For All’s pre-loved fashion fundraisers have grown to be sought after events on calendars of animal lovers and fashion fiends alike. For the International Day of Charity, they are back with a new drop of their virtual flea, where shoppers can score great deals on designer labels and fast fashion finds while raising funds for an important cause.
Soha Ali Khan, whose personal picks are also up for sale, explained “It’s become a bit of a tradition for me to celebrate the International Day of Charity to help our furry friends. I’ve long been a supporter of the important work of World For All, so this year I’ve picked out some of my wardrobe favourites for their virtual fundraising flea market. I hope we can all take time to think about how we can incorporate new ways of giving into our daily lives on this Day of Charity.”
Sophie Choudry, who also regularly contributes to this causes, added, “This occasion brings together many aspects close to my heart. Being able to celebrate your individualism through fashion while doing it sustainably, chipping in for a beloved annual charity event – the World For All Virtual Flea, to help animals in need while protecting the planet… I can think of no better way to celebrate the International Day of Charity!”
Taronish Bulsara, Cofounder of World For All, closed off saying “We’ve been overwhelmed by the love for our flea market fundraisers, and are excited to kick off this year’s edition.
