A grand felicitation ceremony celebrating the remarkable achievements of Bollywood wig designer Jeetendra S Salvi and Ramakant Munde, President of the Cine Still TV and Motion Photographers Association (CSTMPA), commenced and concluded with great enthusiasm at the Peninsula Club in Mumbai. The ceremony witnessed the prestigious presentation of the Akhand Bharat Gaurav Award to Jeetendra Salvi for his exceptional contributions to the film industry, while Ramakant Munde was also honored with the Akhand Bharat Gaurav Award. The awards were presented by renowned Bollywood actors amidst the presence of esteemed personalities from the entertainment industry.
Musician Dilip Sen, Bollywood actor Tej Sapru, and Bollywood actress Aarti Nagpal graced the felicitation ceremony with their presence, adding to the grandeur of the occasion. Additionally, officials from the CSTMPA were actively involved in organizing the event, with Balasaheb Gaikwad and Ramakant Munde assuming leadership roles as President.
Jeetendra Salvi, fondly known as Bala Bhai, has been an integral part of the Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada film industry for over two decades. Under the guidance of his elder brother and mentor, Surendra Salvi ji, Jeetendra has carved a niche for himself as a proficient wig designer, catering to the hairstyling needs of renowned actors such as Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Sanjay Dutt, Chiranjeevi, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, and many others. His expertise in crafting wigs, beards, and mustaches has contributed to the visual authenticity of numerous blockbuster films, including Animal, Donkey, Salaar, RRR, Baahubali, and KGF, among others.
Ramakant Munde, the newly appointed President of the CSTMPA, leads the association alongside elected members Vinod Deshpande (Vice President), Atul Rajkule (Secretary), Ashok Kanojia (Joint Secretary), Satish Ghusale (Treasurer), Atul Singh (Co-Treasurer), and committee members Firoz Hashmi, Himanshu Vyas, Shyam Salvekar, Rambachan Soni, Girish Verma, Kartik Das, Devendra Sarkar, Vinayak Vetkar, and Pappu Gupta. The CSTMPA plays a crucial role in representing the interests of professionals engaged in cine still photography and motion picture production.
