Rupali Ganguly for Deepa Shahi, the co-producer of the show “Anupamaa,” in which Rupali plays the title role. During the Wonder Women awards in Mumbai, Deepa Shahi received the Super Achievers award for her successful production of the show.

Rupali further described Deepa Shahi as a mother figure for the entire cast and crew of the show, emphasizing that she puts the essence of “Maa” (mother) in “Anupamaa.” Deepa Shahi is seen as an overarching motherly presence for everyone on set, providing guidance, support, and blessings like a nurturing Banyan tree that fosters the growth of all under her care.
Deepa’s journey from being a housewife to becoming a co-producer of India’s top blockbuster show is undoubtedly commendable, and Rupali acknowledges her as the main driving force behind the show’s success.
