Luv Sinha Attends Grand Inauguration of Massive Mural Celebrating Malad’s Culture and Heritage at House of Creativity
Renowned actor and entrepreneur, Luv Sinha, recently graced the grand inauguration of a spectacular mural at his art company, House of Creativity. The mural, created by artist Shabbu, pays homage to the local aspects of Malad, showcasing its deep connection and significance to Mumbai.
Luv Sinha, known for his notable roles in films like Paltan and his upcoming web series Gangster, is not only a talented actor but also a multifaceted personality actively involved in politics in Patna. Through House of Creativity, he aims to explore and promote artistic endeavors that go beyond the boundaries of the entertainment industry.
Accompanied by his curatorial advisor, Abhinit Khanna, Luv Sinha envisioned a mural that would capture the essence of Malad and its rich heritage. The artwork beautifully reflects the community, culture, and history of the area, serving as a source of inspiration for all.

The mural holds particular significance as it pays tribute to the iconic Bombay Talkies Studios, which were established in Malad in 1934 by Himanshu Rai and Devika Rani. The studio played a pivotal role in the development of the Indian film industry, boasting state-of-the-art equipment imported from Germany. Luv Sinha and his team commissioned artist Akhlaq Ahmad, widely known as Shabbu, to honor Devika Rani and her remarkable legacy through this stunning artwork.
Spanning an impressive 24,000 square feet, the mural showcases various landmarks that define Malad, including the UNESCO heritage building of the BMC HQ, the Bombay Stock Exchange, and the diverse flora and fauna found in the locality. It also aims to celebrate the vibrant spirit and contributions of the Koli community, an integral part of Malad’s cultural fabric.
