Makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, a popular Indian sitcom, have recently ventured into the world of edutainment, gaming, and e-commerce. They are the first television show to enter the world of animated nursery rhymes, Android, IOS, HTML, and blockchain gaming, as well as e-commerce.
The nursery rhyme channels aim to provide a safe and entertaining environment for kids to learn Indian culture, values, and ethos through music and humor. With rhymes in different languages such as Hindi, English, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, and more, the channels are gaining popularity with young fans. The creator and producer of the show, Mr. Asit Modi, expressed his excitement about the initiative, stating that they hope to spread happiness and laughter among children through their songs.
Since its soft launch, the nursery rhyme channels have been getting more than 20 million views a month. The makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have dropped two rhymes on every channel every week, adding to the existing library. A new channel in Marathi language was introduced this Gudi Padwa, and Gujarati and Bengali channels will be launched by April 2023.
In addition to the nursery rhyme channels, the makers have entered the world of interactive gaming, including Android, IOS, HTML, and blockchain gaming. They have created OOLTAH CHASHMAH PLAY, and their first free-to-play game, RUN JETHA RUN, has been released on Google Play store and Apple app store. The game is an exciting race among the characters from the TMKOC universe where players can control their TMKOC characters from Gokuldham society to reach the top by collecting power-ups and avoiding obstacles, knocking down other TMKOC players, all while collecting the bricks and racing to the top.

RUN JETHA RUN has been well received, with over 100,000 downloads during the test launch phase and a rating of 4.3 stars+. On 24th of March 2023, this game was amongst the top 5 casual games in India. The studio is working on more than 50 casual and hyper-casual games to be launched in the next 18 months. There will be a new game lined up for release every month, along with updates and new feature additions in the existing games. BHIDE SCOOTER RACE and HUNGRY GOLI are the next two games in the line-up.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest-running sitcoms that aired first in 2008 and is now in its 15th year with over 3500 episodes. Other than its flagship show, Neela Film Productions Private Limited also streams Gukuldhamchi Duniyadari in Marathi and Tarak Mama Ayyo Rama in Telugu on YouTube.
