Actor and Entrepreneur Nikhil Nanda says that designer clothes form a big part of his wardrobe. He adds that such clothes add a lot to how you are perceived and also helps you to be up to date with the latest styles.
“Designer dresses are essential whether you are an actor or not. I have been wearing them for the last 10 years now. I think it’s important because it enhances your personality and helps you be in line with the current trends,” he says.
Talking about his experience with buying designer-wear, he says, “I have never experienced any situation where any designer has refused to give me any dress and I think it’s the other way around. As long as you are willing to pay the price, they just try to get you to buy their stuff.”
“The exorbitant prices that come along with their designer dresses or branded clothes, are quite justified, says Nikhil, adding, “If somebody has worked hard to build his brand name and style then he deserves all the value that he may demand. It’s the same for actors and singers. Anybody who has got a creative talent, I think, they deserve the price that anybody is willing to pay which they feel is justified for their craft.”

Ask him what is the most expensive/precious item of clothing he owns, and he says, “I got a few designer suits from Rodeo Drive GUCCI and LV men store in LA. They continue to be my favourite. I just don’t wear suits very often now I have got more into the traditional mode of the dressing that I wear on a day-to-day basis. Even in family functions, weddings and everything. They are the most exclusive ones and make you stand out in the crowd”.
