Pankaj Tripathi, renowned for his exceptional acting skills and humble nature, has once again displayed his philanthropic side by renovating the government school in his native village.
The esteemed actor, hailing from Gopalganj district in Bihar, has consistently shown his commitment to the betterment of his community. This recent endeavor showcases his dedication to providing quality education and improving infrastructure for the children in his village.
The initiative took shape after the Gopalganj district administration introduced the Gopalganj Gaurav app, which aimed to encourage individuals from the district residing elsewhere to contribute to the development of their villages or districts. Pankaj attended a meeting organized by the administration and found the initiative to be commendable.

Two months later, he received a call from the principal of the school where he had completed his primary education. The principal requested assistance in constructing a compound wall and gates to ensure the safety of the students, as the school was located adjacent to a busy road.
Motivated by the school’s request, Pankaj, along with his elder brother, took the responsibility upon themselves and decided to fund the project. During a visit to his village, Pankaj observed that the school required additional improvements.
Some parts of the building had crumbling plaster, the colors had faded, and the lights and fans were not functioning properly. Recognizing the need for an overall revamp, Pankaj, through the Pandit Banaras Tiwari Foundation trust, named after his parents, initiated the renovation and upgrade of the school’s infrastructure.
The project received support from the paint brand for which Pankaj is the brand ambassador. The brand provided electrical equipment and oversaw the painting of the school. To fulfill the remaining funding requirements, Pankaj’s foundation stepped in and completed the upgrade.
One significant aspect of the renovation was ensuring the school’s self-sufficiency in terms of power supply. Pankaj and his team installed eco-friendly solar energy panels, guaranteeing uninterrupted power for the students even during electricity failures, enabling them to focus on their studies without disruptions.
