Actress turned poet, Priya Malik says that this year has been very fulfilling for her, in all areas. The actress started new projects and also got married.
“Both personally and professionally, it was a great year for me. I ticked off a lot of items from my bucket list and I’m very grateful for everything that I have achieved this year. Some specific milestones were that I announced my book, and I got married although I don’t consider marriage an achievement, I am very content it happened. I wrote more often and also did more live shows which I wasn’t able to do due to Covid-19. This year I also performed my one hour solo poetry show of Chai aur Kavitaayein in various cities across India,” she says.
Ask her what she wishes next year brings for her, and she says, “In 2023, I think I will learn how to balance my personal and professional life a little bit more. I love what I do, which is why I’m a little bit of a workaholic and I forget to take rest breaks and slow down. And I think I will be a little bit more mindful of that. At the same time, I’m also getting into lyrics writing, so I’m hoping that 2023 will start with my song getting released, which I’m looking forward to. In 2023, I would also like to get a little bit more healthy as I want to focus on working out to be internally and externally healthy and kick some ass again.
