This prestigious event, scheduled for the 24th of February, 2024, is not only a tribute to the founder of Ajivasan Music Academy but also a platform to honor exceptional artists, educators, and emerging talents.
At the heart of Vasantotsav is the Uttam Vag-Geyakar Jialal Vasant Award, a prestigious accolade presented annually to recognize outstanding contributions to music. This year, the esteemed award will be conferred upon the exceptionally talented Pandit Suresh Talwarkar, accompanied by a citation engraved on a magnificent 1.25-kilo silver brick.
The evening will be graced by the presence of the renowned tabla maestro, Padma Vibhushan Ustad Zakir Hussain, who will serve as the Chief Guest and felicitate Pandit Suresh Talwalkar.
