1st October is the day for every coffee lover to rejoice. After all, it is International Coffee Day that promotes and celebrates coffee as a beverage that is loved by many. Celebs bring out their coffee-loving side as they talk about whether they like hot or cold coffee and why. They also talk about the cups of coffee they drink daily.
Khushdeep Bansal:
I tried coffee for the first time during my engineering days in Punjab. It tasted bitter, like burnt milk. My friends in Nagpur, who were coffee lovers, introduced me to it. I thought it sounded like “toffee” but found it bitter. They explained it to me, and it always brings a smile to my face when I remember this. I’m not a big coffee fan, but I enjoy the coffee on Indigo flights. Its unique taste keeps me hooked. My son is a coffee enthusiast, collecting beans from around the world and owning a miniature coffee maker. Despite my family’s love for coffee, I’m still a tea person from a village, having one or two cups a day. The smell of coffee beans lets me savor the fragrance of life.
Rahul Sharma:
I just love coffee a lot and for the past 3 to 4 years I have been too much into it. Especially for the past one and a half years, I have been exploring different kinds, styles, and flavours of coffee. I mostly prefer hot coffee. Espresso shots, the pour-over coffee, are my favorite and the most common ones I have. I mostly consume black coffee, 3 cups a day. I also have Cappuccino, café latte. I do like to make Dalgona coffee, which became famous during the lockdown. So, overall coffee is not just a beverage. I am not addicted to coffee but I just love it and like to explore it. It’s more like a ritual. Like in India, not coffee but chai is followed like a ritual. So for me, coffee is a ritual too. I follow this ritual in my daily life just like other activities. I love to sit on my balcony and enjoy drinking it with my wife. I usually have coffee and she drinks tea. Talking about the process of making the coffee feels like an emotion. We gossip while making it. The emotions, and the lifestyle, all of these when combined, make each cup special.
Pranitaa Pandit:
I am completely in love with coffee and I am a coffee drinker. I prefer to have hot coffee when I am at home and when I am traveling I drink cold coffee. I don’t like to drink more than two cups of coffee a day. I believe caffeine is not good for your health. People should be aware enough to limit their coffee consumption. Because they sometimes exceed their consumption and end up having 4 to 5 cups a day.

Dhartti Bhatt:
I am a huge fan of black coffee. I love black coffee that is without milk. It’s my energy drink actually. I do have coffee shots while shooting. I feel that I need to have coffee 3 times while shooting because I feel that I might feel sleepy and not be energetic while shooting. I am very much into black coffee as it works like a savior to me during the shoots.
Sumbul Touqeer:
I think International Coffee Day is a splendid occasion to celebrate the elixir of life – coffee! As for me, I’m an absolute coffee enthusiast. Now, when it comes to choosing between hot or cold coffee, it really depends on the weather and my mood. As for the number of cups I indulge in daily, I’d say I’m a moderate coffee drinker. One cup in the morning to get that energy boost, and perhaps another in the afternoon if I need a little wake-me-up push.
Anupama Solanki:
I love cold coffee from CCD. I used to drink coffee on a limit but when I drank I enjoyed it a lot. Addiction to anything is not good. I used to drink coffee once a month. Lots of people drink coffee just for enjoyment but it’s a supplement medicine. There is caffeine in Coffee and it gives you energy so you should know how to use caffeine. If you take in the limit it is very good for boosting energy but if you exceed it will not be good.
Aadesh Chaudhary:
I don’t consume much coffee. Basically. I am a tea lover. But yes I do like coffee. In the morning Breve-cot coffee/Davidoff coffee or else I go for cold coffee. I do like Cafe Coffee Day’s Frappe. I usually have one cup of coffee throughout the day as I am not so fond of it.
Falaq Naaz:
I am not a coffee lover, but I do like it, I am into both coffee and tea. I have it occasionally. My favourite is cappuccino or mocha. So, I love these coffees. I crave coffee whenever I feel exhausted and need some energy. I prefer hot coffee as cold coffee creates some problems for me. As mentioned earlier, I am not a coffee person, so I don’t consume it regularly.

Surabhi Das:
I’m a coffee lover, my morning starts with a hot black coffee. It completely freshens me up. I don’t like cold coffee, as I don’t find it better than the hot one. I need at least 2 cups of me if I’m not shooting, on set it goes up to 3-4.
