March, 2025: Josh Foundation, in collaboration with Atos, marked World Hearing Day by distributing state-of-the-art digital hearing aids to 50+ children from the Rotary School of Dombivli. This initiative is part of Atos’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and aligns with the World Health Organization’s (WHO) 2025 theme: “Changing mindsets: Empower yourself to make ear and hearing care a reality for all!”
The WHO’s theme emphasizes the importance of individuals taking proactive steps toward maintaining ear and hearing health, encouraging regular hearing checks, safe listening practices, and supporting those with hearing loss. By providing these advanced hearing aids, Josh Foundation and Atos are directly supporting this global initiative, empowering children to overcome hearing challenges and promoting inclusivity.
Devangi Dalal, one of the founder trustees of Josh Foundation and a renowned Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist, highlighted the significance of this endeavor:
“Hearing is not just about sound; it’s about connection, communication, and confidence. By providing digital hearing aids to these children, we are giving them the gift of opportunity, helping them to excel in academics, social interactions, and personal growth. We are grateful to Atos for supporting our vision of an inclusive society where every child has the right to hear and be heard.”
Murli Menon, Director – Group Security & CSR Team Coordinator for Atos in India, expressed his enthusiasm for the association, stating,
