From Deepika Padukone’s inspirational journey to Sushmita Sen teaching us how to live in the now and several other LIVE shows, Roposo has some special surprises this World Mental Health Day
For several years, people across the globe didn’t understand the concept of mental well-being. In fact, mental health awareness as well as advocacy has been exceptionally low. But in recent years, we are seeing a gradual shift. Self-care and mental health are the new buzz words for Gen-Z now. People are now learning and practicing different methods of self-care routines such as stress management, self-love on a regular basis and are also educating themselves and others mental health.
To celebrate this further as well as educate people about mental health, and to promote awareness and advocacy against social stigma, Roposo is back with S.L.A.Y (Self-Love and You) season 2 for its 200 million plus consumers. On World Mental Health Day (October 10th), Roposo will host a day-long celebration on its platform, encouraging consumers and creators to prioritize their wellbeing, through a series of LIVE shows.
The entire live extravaganza, S.L.A.Y, will be streamed on Glance and Roposo simultaneously on 10th Oct from 11 am onwards. Consumers will get an opportunity to watch 11 engaging live shows specially curated for wellbeing across categories. It will kickstart with Expert Talk, a multicast LIVE show that will see popular creators Jensita Grace and Vrasha Rajesh discuss common mental health issues, how to approach treatment for the same, and advice for maintaining good mental health. This will be followed by Breaking the Silence led by Roposo creator Vinayak Sinha and Vishal Ahire, another multicast LIVE show, where individuals share their personal journeys, while highlighting the challenges they faced and the strategies that helped them overcome them. The entire thought behind this engaging show is to share stories that can inspire and provide hope to others facing similar struggles.
There will also be an interactive DIY session led by Priyanka Bora who will show the therapeutic benefits of art and how individuals can immerse themselves in art projects. And creator Sonu Kumar will do a Vox Pop show where he will interact with people on the streets to understand their awareness on mental health and what they do for their wellbeing.

In the evening, several popular creators will present LIVE shows where creators will be seen speaking about popular celebrities who have spoken about their mental health struggles. Right from Sushmita Sen’s story where she teaches us how to live in the moment and not to get bogged down by societal pressure to Shaheen Bhatt’s mental health journey, clips from her book launch where her family members talk about their take on it, Yo Yo Honey Singh’s Journey with his bipolar disorder and Alcoholism, his break from Bollywood and then his mega comeback, this session will definitely inspire people to work towards improving their mental health by talking about real-life examples of issues faced by multiple Bollywood celebrities and how they dealt with it head on.
With several more surprises in store for its users, S.L.A.Y season 2 will surely break the taboos and misconceptions around mental health. So, come and feel the vibe on Roposo.
