Celebrity Tarot card reader/Holistic Healer Aditya Nair says that monsoons are ‘truly magical’ for him. He says that there is a sense of rejuvenation and freshness in the air.
“What I love the most about the monsoon is the way it brings a sense of renewal and cleansing both the Earth and our spirits. The rhythmic sound of raindrops, the fresh smell of wet earth, and the lush greenery that emerges all around us create a soothing atmosphere that promotes healing and introspection. I don’t have any special rituals, but I personally like to spend time in quiet contemplation during rainfall. I find that connecting with nature’s energy during this time helps me cleanse and purify my own energy, allowing for spiritual growth and healing. Additionally, I often incorporate meditation, chanting, or prayers to further enhance the experience. Overall, the monsoon season offers a beautiful opportunity for spiritual reflection, connecting with nature, and nurturing our inner selves,” he says.
However, monsoon comes with its set of challenges as well. “I am creating content for my audience, the monsoon season can present its challenges. I have encountered such situations and have learned to adapt and embrace the circumstances. When faced with unfavourable weather conditions, I view it as an opportunity to align myself with the natural flow of life,” he says.
He adds, “In dealing with these issues, I practise flexibility and acceptance. I explore alternative indoor locations or reschedule outdoor shoots to a more suitable time. However, if it is essential to capture the essence of the monsoon, I encourage embracing the rain and allowing it to become an integral part of the shoot. By surrendering to the elements and finding beauty in the rain-soaked surroundings, we can create unique and evocative imagery that captures the spirit of the season. Ultimately, it is about adapting, finding creative solutions, and embracing the inherent beauty and transformative energy that the monsoon offers.”

He adds that one must take extra care of our skin and hair during this season. “Personally, my advice is to drink water and get adequate sleep. Hydration and sleep are extremely important for healthy skin, and I also like to include protein in any form in my diet. As I am always travelling and exposing myself to different altitudes, I like to adapt to the local diet and fruits. During the monsoon season, I embrace my inner child and do a happy dance in my brain! I find solace in connecting with nature. I take leisurely walks under the drizzling sky, feeling the raindrops cleanse my spirit. My childhood memories of the monsoon are filled with laughter and joy, splashing in puddles and chasing rainbows. It’s a time of enchantment and wonder, where nature’s magic unfolds, reminding me to stay connected with the playful and carefree aspects of life,” he says.
