Akash Sharma is a multi-talented man. Apart from practicing medicine professionally, he is also a model and boxer. With so much on his plate, some might feel that it must be difficult being in his shoes, but he says that being good at time management made him a good multi-tasker.
“Usually if you are a professional athlete you have to give full time to that but I do both. Being a doctor as well as a professional athlete, I wake up every morning at 4:00 am and train continuously for two hours from 4:30 am to 6:30 am. After that, I take care of the IVF hospital work from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm and then do training from 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm at night,” he said.
“Time management is not a big issue if time is managed properly. Yes, on some days it’s a challenge for me but I get to learn a lot in life and I love to do this,” he added.
Sharing details about his modeling career, he revealed that being a professional boxer made it easy for him to make it big in the field. “As a professional boxer, my physique was very good, due to which my promotion company gave me access to all the ads related to fitness shoots, along with fitness modeling. I did shoots for many companies and also do fitness modeling in London Paris New York etc,” he said, adding that he aims to become an actor now.

Akash comes from a simple family based in Uttar Pradesh. His father is a farmer and his mother is a housewife. He shared, “My mother wanted me to become a doctor and my father wanted me to be a professional sportsman. I obeyed and listened to both and became a doctor and professional athlete together. When I started working as a doctor after my studies, I stayed away from sports for about five years. After that, I started it again and came back as a professional boxer.”
He specializes in IVF and revealed that it was his friend’s mother who inspired him to opt for the field. “When I was graduating from the university, there I met my friend’s mother who is an IVF specialist. I was very impressed after meeting her and decided to enter this field. I worked as a freelancer for about five years in different countries after which I invested in my own IVF hospital abroad where there is a medical superintendent who is always in touch with me and I manage the tasks,” Akash concluded.
